🐳 2 humpback whales killed & 1 seriously injured in krill nets near Antarctica in 2024!
🤯 Krill catch soared from 104,728 tons (2007) to 424,203 tons (2023).
😱498,000+ tons caught so far in 2024!
Why do we need Krill? Fishmeal and omega-3 pills 😤

There are women in there.
Real breathing, seeing, hearing, feeling women trapped inside these portable sensory deprivation chambers.
How is this different from torture?
i cannot explain to you in words how deeply fucked up and cruel this joke is.
like, i cry every christmas. every birthday. does my daughter know its a holiday? did i get her what she wanted? will i ever know if she knows it's christmas?
go to hell.
To those saying comments like "oh good more money for those who contribute nothing" - check ur facts!
40% of UC claimants are the working poor others are carers, have disabilities or illness, & some who don't have work, want it. A little more compassion & less judgement wouldn't hurt.
I’ve not heard one media outlet highlight the fact that Labour are setting aside £11.8 billion for the infected blood scandal and £1.8 billion for the Horizon/PO scandal.
The Tories set aside nothing and that in itself is a scandal.

RCPCH calls for pause in recruitment of PAs in paediatrics. 94% of respondents believe that there needs to be centrally defined scope of practice, with 75% stating that input from specialty bodies should be required in this process. Will the RCPCH support our judicial review?
So even if the PA says they are competent
Has done the procedure before
Been signed off as competent as per FPARCP guidance
And it falls within the "local scope" dictated by the Trust
It's *still* the Drs fault if they screw up the procedure
Unbelievable
The MDU makes it clear
Doctors supervising a PA/AA remains responsible for anything that goes wrong, not the previous Doctor/NHS Employer who signed off on competency
NHS Employers are really responsible but will never be held accountable
Be aware https://t.co/yht3S0FKtq
🚨 National limits must be urgently set on the scope of practice for Physician Associates. Otherwise, NHS managers will keep pushing the boundaries of what is safe. @gmcuk@drcolinm@RCSnews - do you have a position on PAs "surgical assisting"?
Example below: @BucksHealthcare
Did you hear what Donald Trump said yesterday? That he will do what he wants, “whether the women like it or not.”
Listen to people when they tell you who they are.
Lots of them married with kids. One even in the process of adopting a little girl
And several of them raping their own wives/partners
One missed his own daughters birth because he was raping Giselle
So many women are harmed with men like this around
There is a country on this planet in 2024 that is banning women from speaking to each other, and I’ll tell you something for free, this is a sex-based issue. Women are treated this way, globally, on the basis of sex.
Not a single woman can identify out of this horror.
I’m going to donate £100 for @UMAPsUK fund to sue the @rcgp
Why?
- I want all the documentation etc to come out in discovery
- the system has been absolutely corrupt and the RCGP has been a part of it - holding the RCGP folk of old to account is critical
- I want the world to see the poor (non existent) evidence for PAs in primary care
- I would like to see what @NHSEngland and other stakeholders have to say
- this is a way to get transparency
- I hope it will also drag in @AoMRC into the fold :)
- I want all of this to become public information so the more law suits that happen the better
