Presuming competence and providing opportunities consistent with high expectations is the LEAST dangerous assumption. Why? Because how terrible would it be if we didn’t presume competence and were proved WRONG. Progress not perfection 🤟🏼🥰 @RCSD_No81
Way to go, kiddo! M received the @CatherineRCSD Paw award for demonstrating gratitude during the month of November 🎉 Fun fact.. Ms. @m_burns16 was our inclusion teacher over at @DeshayeCatholic a few years ago. How lucky are we to continue learning & growing together?! VERY! 🌟
“All-Star division offers a unique & adaptive platform for children in K-6 with cognitive disabilities to dive into the world of bball. RCBA provides every child regardless of their ability a chance to fully participate and shine on the basketball court, and beyond.” @RCSD_No81

I had to cancel friendship club today in my home room. Upon sharing this with the kiddos before lunch, they just up and sat at their own table. THIS is inclusion & it’s so beautiful to witness it transferring into all settings. Way to go @StFrancisRCSD 💙
Field trips that aren't accessible to all students should not be planned in the first place. Part of planning the trip is planning for accessibility. This is not optional. Don't plan educational experiences that some students in the class cannot be a part of. #AllMeansAll
“Wanna know somethin’ Ms. M!? I love reading! They sent me this all the way from the UNITED STATES!”🤣♥️ Thankyou @UnitedWayRegina (& corporate partners) for gifting us with these fun reading boxes. 🙏📚
