It’s Snack Election Day! We had primaries & our two candidates were popcorn vs cheese balls. We campaigned, had a debate, & the results are in…….. cheese balls! We are excited to enjoy our tasty snack tomorrow! #ElectionDay @RaymoreTigers

This morning I walkied for someone to watch my class for a min so I could run to the RR. Imagine my shock when in walks my principal, superintendent, & BOE member! Shocked, but not at all surprised to see them jump in. Thanks for the support, big & small(that was big 😆) @RayPec

Wow, an amazing reader’s theater performance of “It’s Not Hansel and Gretel” from Mrs. P, @RaymorePD officers, & @RayPec Superintendent Dr. Slagle! Then we got to meet the author himself @joshfunkbooks He gave great advice to future writers (and eats a KitKat the right way! 😆)

Ah, never underestimate the power of play. They had the idea to create companies to earn more class money. Goods, services(desk cleaning was popular), entertainment,& a theater today. So many targets learned authentically! Also social skills & confidence ❤️

Our reading unit theme is “Heroes” so we took time to read about kids doing amazing things on our hallway bulletin board. We can all make a difference and be a hero to someone!
