In honor of South Garland's Homecoming Week, let's look back at some history! 🎉 Established in 1964, South Garland became the second high school in Garland ISD. The school’s original mascot was the Colonel, but in 2021, the mascot was changed to the Titans. (The Class of 2025 will be the first to graduate as 4-year Titans! 🎓) The Titan symbolizes strength, resilience, and great achievement—qualities that perfectly represent our students and staff at South.
South Garland is built on strong traditions, and as we create new ones, we proudly hold on to our South Side pride! 💪❤️💙 #TitanStrong
"As good a player he is, he's an even better person. " NO truer words have been said about @TyreseMaxey. I'm so proud of all the good you do and the fun you have doing it. So great to keep watching you grow.
A huge congrats to our seniors!! Thank you for your years of hard work and dedication in the classroom and on the court!! Best of luck... Go Be Great!! @LedayAl@SGHS_Titans@coach_fray
Congratulations to the South Garland High School Class of 2024! 🎓
These students' resilience shines bright, and today marks the end of a sweet chapter in their lives. We know they will go out and give it their all in the world. TITAN UP, and remember, once a Titan, always a Titan.
