@nathanday314 Much too small of a data set and insignificant of a margin to matter if there is a mode or not.Truth is, based on the true theoretical definition of a mode, it’s technically trimodal. The practical version of statistics says it’s a uniform data set based on limited data available.
Coming soon to Chrome browser on all computers: reading mode! For people with language-based disabilities like dyslexia, this new feature reduces distractions by letting you customize font, spacing, background color, & more. https://t.co/uM5SO8FC2P

Are your students working on radical equations? This @openmiddle problem from @newmanmath will challenge their understandings! https://t.co/ySnyEOcJ9C #MTBoS
@ddmeyer I have used these analyses when presenting assessment data to students so that they can figure out what their own trends are, as well as how they compared to the rest of the class on each of the standards of the exam, in words that they would understand.
@ddmeyer Even more, so, as a math Sup and principal, I make it my mission to help teachers to understand the data that they are given. We look at scatterplots to see the strength of our exam, and in what areas we need to focus in order to improve based on standards.
@ddmeyer Your recent newsletter, “I came in like HAPPY MATH MAN” 🤣😂 I needed that laugh today!
Also, great advice- anticipation of the wrong answer helps the Teacher to design a solid lesson plan so kids develop an understanding so strong to prevent that misconception! 👍🏻
@robertkaplinsky@openmiddle Huge fan- went from secondary math to lower elementary principal. I’m sharing your brilliance! Is there a K-5 book coming soon?
