Covering the American Revolution with APUSH yesterday and today. Somehow timed it perfectly to talk about Yorktown on the anniversary, I never seem to do that with any other things in history class.
#OTD in #History, 1781, the siege of Yorktown began. After 6 years of bloodshed, #GeorgeWashington knew 1781 had to be decisive: “Now or never our deliverance must come.” In just 3 weeks, it would, marking the effective end of the #RevWar—and the beginning of liberty in the #USA.
