@ajgrad4119 So true. As educators we have the opportunity to show our students that this change doesnโt have to impact how we learn. So many life lessons are coming from the pandemic.

Every politician should be required to spend one day in an elementary school, one day in a middle school, and one day in a high school before they can say what teachers can or canโt do.

What an awesome opportunity to show children how we can rise to a situation that may not be what we want. Kids feed of our energy, we need to be mindful of what energy we portray. #SMU622
#ThoughtForTheDay As schools begin to lay out plans for the fall be mindful of where & w/whom you share your frustrations. Kids donโt need to hear adults complaining about the decisions being made & when kids complain letโs model what it means 2 be the voice of reason. #Culturize
Four years ago on this date, #PhilandoCastile was shot and killed by police. Today, we honor his legacy at St. Paul's J.J. Hill Montessori Magnet School, where worked for more than a decade and was beloved by children and educators. #BlackLivesMatter
As educators, we should be an example to our students. We should read; we should be curious; we should learn and be willing to grow; we should open ourselves up to new ideas.
If we see the world in exactly the same way we did 5 years ago, weโre not doing it right.
