Something odd you learn as a money coach - a shocking number of people put all their money into a savings account then move it over to checking whenever they have to spend.
And then they wonder why they’re so stressed about their savings…🙃
personal finance is absolutely RIFE with extremely confident "I did it and so can you" people who live in what I call the Dunning-Kruger valley.
Look for people who have: taken financial courses, admit when they don't know, worked with clients, and are always learning more.
I wish that being a prominent voice on a topic didn’t require exuding absolute authority and otherwise exaggerating the extent of factual knowledge in the field. Not from desire to be prominent, but because I’m bitter that all the charlatans and dilettantes are! Yes this is subtw
