My students had a 'sweet' time making polygons with marshmallows and toothpicks! They worked all the way from a 3 sided shape (triangle) to a 10 sided shape (decagon) and totally rocked the challenge😎We even brought in fractions and partitioned the shapes as well🎯 @rossccisd

The most beautiful thing about writing poetry is that each of my students gets to create a work of art that not even I can critique. Why? Poetry is art and it is perfect the way they create it. Each stanza displaying their creativity within! 💙 @rossccisd

Today, we worked on analyzing each stanza of a poem called "Hip-Hop Christmas" by Kenn Nesbitt. After we analyzed each stanza, we drew a quick sketch of what we visualized--which the kids loved!!🎅🏻 @rossccisd
