I am currently working as a supply teacher in Swansea and Carmarthenshire. I am really enjoying the experience of working within different schools and with a wide range of learnersโจ
Today I took a year 5/6 class to the beach in Tenby as part of our Friday โlife skills learningโ to beach comb for micro-plastics. The children couldnโt believe how much plastic was hidden within the sand. ๐๏ธ
First half term complete. Finishing the term finding out Iโll be keeping the class I have been covering since September for the remainder of the school year ๐คฉ best news ever ๐
I have really enjoyed working with @greatergadsby over the course of two days. Your strategies for engaging learners are fantastic, I canโt wait to implement your ideas within my own teaching approaches. โจโจ
The caterpillars have really begun to grow! Weโve had a lovely week learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly, the children are able to recite it using actions and even in Welsh!!!! ๐๐ฆ super proud!! ๐๐
We have really enjoyed investing symmetry. We have learnt that butterfly wings are symmetrical and we have made our own butterflies using paint. ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
This week we have been learning all about the lifecycle of a butterfly, and to provide an authentic context to the learning we have got real caterpillars in class so we can watch and document the process ๐๐๐ฆ๐ฆ
And just like that I have completed university finishing with a presentation. Now to enjoy my summer term as an LSA before starting my next chapter in September with my very own class ๐ฅน๐ฅน๐ฅน (hopefully!!!) @ITEcardiffmet
What a week for our BA #student#teachers@cardiffmet. Their ambition/resilience/work ethic/positivity is admirable. Qualities the #education sector in #Wales and beyond can be proud of! Special mention to our Yr3s who are nearing QTS: you have trailblazed with absolute class!
Thank you Miss Mountstevens for joining our Teams call today. We loved meeting you and finding out more about Cardiff and Beegu! #Pencsealions#Penc2#PencLLC#PencEIC#PencACL
