I love this meme because it makes me laugh, but before the zombie stuff, it made me think about what I mean when I talk about "inclusion". And for most students, I really mean "integration".
We can do better for more students, but teachers need the time and training and support.
Saw a person post about giving sanctions for poor posture and looking out of the window.
It's stuff like that that makes me want to leave teaching, tbh. Feeling like THAT'S something we need to police.

ADHD-ers usually have an interest-based nervous system. Meaning that a task needs either novelty, urgency, competition or interest for them to be motivated or focused. Learning this and adapting boring, everyday tasks to fit into one of these categories can be life-changing.
@etaknipsa@tes There is a recruitment and retention crisis in education, and "you won't get as much pay elsewhere" isn't going to fix that. Very few people are in teaching for the money and it isn't going to help the state of things if that's the only reason they stay.
