Today in Grade 7, we read “We Are the Gardeners” to reflect on uniqueness and perseverance. In table groups students were challenged to create 3D flowers. I’m proud of how they turned out!!🌸🌺 @SACTVDSB
My first LTO has come to an end and I so thankful for my colleagues and students that made this year so unforgettable. Thank you @SACTVDSB for providing amazing support and mentorship as I navigated teaching life while still in school. I love you all❤️
Today a student told me that he appreciated my teaching style and has finally felt like he is achieving the marks he knew he could. I have never felt more proud of myself or my students 💕@SACTVDSB
Thanks @LondonKnights for teaming up with us to spread the word! Keep voting everyone we need all the help we can get to make this dream come true for our #smallbutmighty community! @hockeyville@BoHorvat even got a shoutout !
If your partner or spouse is a teacher they probably answer 2,000+ questions every school day.
So try to avoid asking them questions the minute they get home, especially questions like, “So what’s for dinner?”
I’m thrilled by the work that students put into their geography assignment - creating a fantasy world map and discussing the geographical components that would impact settlements. The amount of work and thought that went into each assignment is incredible! 🗺️@SACTVDSB@TVDSB
Another fun science experiment! Students were testing the pH of various solutions and seeing how the addition of substances (vinegar or soap) to water would change the pH.🥼🧪 @SACTVDSB@TVDSB_STEM
Students created water filters to see who could get the water the cleanest. We found that if you put a lot of cotton in the filter, the water came out the clearest! @SACTVDSB@TVDSB_STEM#science
