ZERO nursing staff showed up at this ICU. They had to borrow nurses from partner hospital and via nursing agencies. We are in deep trouble Ontario. You might not understand now but I promise you, you will understand when you need a nurse. Make sure your vote is not for Doug Ford.

It's almost shift change and my ICU colleague just messaged me that they are 7 nurses short. No replacements found. 3 nurses have been guilt-tripped into working 16hrs. The hospital has decided to incentivize all staff with a time and half pay, still, no nurses. It's really bad.
