Classroom management is best achieved with relationships and community, not compliance. It works with a smile, not a scowl. It works with curiosity, not fear. It works with teachable moments, not punishment.
I finally got to see my classroom and I am overflowing with gratitude and disbelief! I worked so hard for this moment and it’s finally here! Can’t wait to make this classroom my own and create a safe and fun learning space for my Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 students! #Rm145
I graduated Piscataway High School over a decade ago, but now it’s official! I have accepted an offer to teach at PHS for the 2021-2022 school year! This is a full circle moment for sure! Back to high school I go! 🤍
Counting down the days this year not because I don’t love teaching and my students (I do), but because this year was so overwhelming I am breaking down and need a break. This year teachers did so much and it still didn’t feel like enough.
I’ve accepted an offer as a Basic Skills Math Teacher in East Brunswick! Oh, and I got new glasses! So excited (and nervous) to start next week! #grateful#math#teacher
