We started off our morning with Flashlight Friday! We turned off the lights and they were able to use a flashlight to read their book. They cannot wait for the next Flashlight Friday!

Our day started off in court, where students got to partake in two mock trials. We finished our day with a Zoom meeting and virtual tour where we got to meet and ask questions to Senator Hensley. It was a wonderful day in fourth grade!

Look out! A crime has occurred in the 4th grade classrooms today. This #roomtransformation was a great way to get kids instantly engaged after a long break. Students were super pumped to combine reading inference and math skills to solve the crime! #RoarLoudly

This morning, the 4th graders walked into several “crimes” that occurred. They had to solve the crimes by using inference and a variety of math skills. What a fun day of learning!

Glow Day was a hit! Our day was full of fun activities and games that incorporated geometry, light energy, main idea and details!

Government themed transformation day was a blast! The students met in their House and Senate committees to balance a budget through adding and subtracting, followed by partaking in a simulated court case.

Yesterday 4th graders were summoned and today they walked into transformed classrooms! They learned about government first hand by meeting on the congress floor, balancing ag and healthcare budgets, and conducting a court case this afternoon. Powerful lesson! #RoarLoudly
