Today, NC FFA hosted the Vet Science CDE. Four of our seniors competed in this event. Each student plans to attend college with an animal science concentration or work within the animal industry after graduation. Congratulations on all of their hard work! 🐕🐇🦙 @southrowanFFA

This past Thursday, our students participated at the Iredell County Fair to show sheep. They all did a great job and are getting excited for their next show for the Rowan County Fair! 🐑🐑 @southrowanFFA

Our 2023 Service South Rowan event was a huge success! Thanks to 30 students & 16 adults, we were able to help 7 sites in our community.

Three of our FFA officers attended the Salute to Agri-Business Breakfast in Salisbury this morning. This event is hosted by the Rowan County Cooperative Extension and the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce to promote agriculture awareness 🌾 #agvocate

Today the Livestock Judging team traveled to the Wayne County Fairgrounds to participate in the UMO Invitational Livestock Event 🐂🐖🐑🐐 Lane Yow was the high score for the team. Congratulations to everyone for their hard work!

Today Animal Science 2 students took a trip to the Piedmont Research Station to visit the dairy unit! A big thank you to Kira for taking the time out of her day to show these students around and give them more insight to the industry 🐄
