Completed my teacher training. It’s such an honour to be nominated for the prestigious Julie Hayes award in itself but to win the award from the SCITT has been extremely overwhelming. They saw something in me that I don’t see in myself! I do look forward to what the future holds!

I spoke to someone yesterday who told me someone had said something to them last week and they couldn’t get it off their mind. This was someone who was struggling. The comment was a passing one in jest. Only they had replayed it so many times. This is something to consider

@UnofficialOA I genuinely think there needs to be a balance. Restorative approach but also clear sanctions/consequences. However, I don’t believe in isolation for children. That’s very different from a grown man or woman going to jail for committing an offence.

Nader Awad ran toward the danger to draw the shooters away.
They were fathers, husbands, pillars of their mosque. They chose others over themselves.
Our hearts are with their families and the entire Muslim community of San Diego.

@Stephen81630648 The latest published statistics suggest that you are incorrect. 18 percent of the population of British prisons is Muslim. One Google search would have corrected you. The remaining 82 percent is not. Any way enjoy your night.

6.5 percent of the uk population is Muslim. 6.5!! Which means 93.5 percent is not. To be triggered by such a small percentage is almost laughable.
