I hadn’t played the guitar since elementary school but I had always wanted to be able to play and sing some songs with my students (I’m also not a singer though haha). So I got myself a guitar during my first year of teaching, and sought for moments like this (1/3)

Our students looked at the weather and temperature during the month of March. We discussed how spring sometimes comes slowly and sometimes it comes fast. The “wonky” line on our graph told us that spring is coming slowly this year. 🌷

A very weird coincidence happened today. We learned about the annunciation of the Lord, and did a guided drawing to help us re-tell the story. Then, the Lenten good deed that we pulled from our jar today was to talk to someone about God’s love. We thought it was cool!

After reading “Human Computer: Mary Jackson, Engineer”, by Andi Diehn, I became the “computer” and students became the “programmers”, just like Mary Jackson. They created an algorithm to help get the astronaut to the moon.
