My grade 3 and 4 students did amazing math today with popsicle sticks. Usually our math challenges are done in small groups at a vertical white board, so this had an exciting novelty factor.

#connectingwithconnaught Day 89- squares, squares everywhere! Div. 3 was engaged in their numeracy work as teams today, focusing on building squares- using their problem solving skills and communication was extra important! Open ended numeracy is the best.

After three days of voting, the membership of the BC Teachers’ Federation has voted to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement reached between the BCTF and the BC Public School Employers’ Association.

The vote was 94% in favour with 35,559 ballots returned.
