Plant presentations! 🪴🍌🌷students chose plants to research and shared where their plants can be found, their unique structures and functions, and some fun facts!
@deZavalaMS@dz_avid some awesome elves came to read to my class today! I remember when these young men were 5th graders at JHE 🥲🥰❤️💚 love this time of year. My kids were trying to impress these middle schoolers; such wonderful influences!
@suzanne_kline I love using call backs in class! For example, I taught my students di-vi-sion means to “split it up” and we clap out the syllables. That helps a lot of them remember that multiply = product (produce means to gain) and divide gives us a quotient (missing part) #MathInAction
Took some words of advice from @Fountain_AP to remember to take a literal breath of fresh air sometimes. I get so wrapped up in getting my kids STAAR ready but knew they earned snack time in the courtyard today! @JHaleyBulldogs ☀️
We did mini research projects on the solar system! We made posters and clay models of the planets 🪐 ⭐️ ☀️ we’re even practicing our presentation skills! @JHaleyBulldogs@IrvingISD@lmr0050
