Prior to break, Elsie Johnson 4th graders enriched their learning by creating superheroes after reading The Amazing Adventures of Ordinary Girl. They wrote backstories, assigned powers, and used Adobe Firefly to create AI images, bringing their ideas to life!

A key component of social-emotional health is recognizing one’s own emotions. CCSD93 students are taught this through the Zones of Regulation. Today for their #HourOfCode project, EJ 1st graders learned that like them, Ozobots enter the Green Zone when they’re ready to go!

It’s Explorers Week in CCSD93! To celebrate, 5th graders at Elsie Johnson journeyed through their Innovation Center on a Digital Scavenger Hunt today. In small groups, they deciphered key clues to explore the variety of genres and other hidden treasures the IC has to offer!
