@ktmack777 So true! Know your staff & their strengths. Be genuine. A culture of toxic positivity will never boost morale…it will do the exact opposite.
@KassanoraL My 19yo daughter tested pos. last weekend. I’m a teacher and still had to work bc I’m triple vaxxed (rules just changed after March Break). She is done isolation and no one else in our household have tested pos. so far.
@Mynewme9@Shoey75@nkdillon3@imgrund I agree 100! Parents cannot be expected to bring their child home for lunch. But a parent also cannot reasonably expect teachers to eat lunch with every kid who is too distracted/chatty to finish eating in the allotted time.
@Shoey75@nkdillon3@imgrund “Why shouldn’t the teacher eat with him? Would it kill them?” Well then they wouldn’t get a lunch break then would they? Teachers deserve a break too.
@Shoey75@Ms_Anchovy@nkdillon3@imgrund And no, lunch is not an hour in most boards. It’s 2- 40 minute breaks. 2 minutes to eat and 20 minutes to go outside. If your son chooses not to eat during either of his 2- 20 minute breaks, there is not much a teacher can do.
@cori_cotton @Shoey75@nkdillon3@imgrund Always easier to blame the teachers. That way parents can continue to see themselves as above the lazy teachers who do nothing but complain and strike apparently.
@DrKateTO@fordnation@Sflecce His “plan” was released on May 4th strategically. What he meant was “May the fourth be with you”. We’re all going to need it because Lecce has no plan.
