We love a great read aloud in this class, so we were thrilled to celebrate #worldreadaloudday2022 with @peterhreynolds “Our Table”! We celebrated all of the unique things we each bring to our classroom family’s “table” 💙 Thank you @WTEPTO for the wonderful book!
Today’s theme was hands-on learning! We spent the morning making “Notice and Wonders” about leaves from the trees outside. In math, we played the strategic game of Roll-A-Number to practice value of a digit. They rocked it! #teamWTE
Today didn’t bring great beach day weather, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bring the beach to us! There’s nothing better than getting comfortable with a good book. #teamWTE
@MissParsons_ It is not a template but is fairly simple to make! I used a background image found in a Google search, then added the images of a whiteboard and Zoom poster. Once you have the images in place, you can add text and change it each day!
Looking forward to using this daily “waiting screen” slide while students join our first Zoom each day. Number talks, reading response prompts, morning reflections, goal setting—the possibilities of a blank board are endless!
