Welcome to the world Penelope June aka PJ who arrived today at 12:09 pm weighing in at 9 lbs exactly. Mom and dad are ecstatic!! Thank you to the incredible @barriemidwives1 and the wonderful staff at RVH for helping us through this journey and to our sweet baby girl.
Thank you, @maddcanada! We appreciate your attendance @SteeleStreetPS to share some tough and important conversations, images and statistics with our Intermediates. Hopefully, they will live and share today’s impactful messages with others. ❌🚫🍹🚘🚓🚑🏥
@TeamSclater@SteeleStreetPS We love seeing the reactions from our younger peers! I know my class feels very proud and eager to share their learning. Thank you for always stopping by!!
Thank you @MsShrubsole! @TeamSclater gets so inspired by the contributions of older @SteeleStreetPS students to our learning community. An open invitation to attend your Science Fair was very inclusive! Amazing projects, Grade 6/7! 💚✈️💛

Today the grade 7 students @SteeleStreetPS did a juice lab to review parts of a solution: solute and solvent and we discussed saturated vs. unsaturated solitons. Naturally we shared this lab with grade 6 students so they could sample the juice too.
Today big buddies had little buddies join us for gym @SteeleStreetPS Students rotated through stations to enhance coordination, balance and cardio while learning to work with others. Plus those smiles :)
I love sharing the weekly baby updates with my grade 6/7 class @SteeleStreetPS This leads to some questions and debates about length and weight plus we learn about new fruits and vegetables. The class also guessed the gender and submitted some lovely name ideas too.
The grade 6/7 students @SteeleStreetPS brainstormed ways to take care of their mental health. Each student recorded an idea on a leaf and together we created a Wellness Tree full of ideas that students can use when they need to calm. @SCDSB_Wellness
@SteeleStreetPS staff have a hard time keeping their hands off Baby @MsShrubsole! 💚✈️💛 Did you know that at the beginning of this week, he or she was the size of a honeydew melon or cotton candy? Very cool! 🍈👶🏽
I love Monday mornings! My grade 6/7 Ss are always eager for our Pictionary game where they learn the size of my baby. It leads to some great inquiry, “What is a Pomelo?” and debates, “Lettuce isn’t that big.” @SteeleStreetPS
