@OfficialWathen i totally agree!!! by teaching outside the lines not only will Ss gain a new perspective and understanding of the content, but as teachers we will be able to find new pedagogical techniques that work best for us and our Ss!!!

We have to stop expecting new hires, teachers/ admin, to already be great. Sure some may be above par, but unrealistic expectations means we often don’t provide proper support, encouragement, & mentoring that it takes to succeed. Greatness takes time to be cultivated & developed.

It is more than just KNOWING our content area and/ or pedagogical techniques. We must UNDERSTAND both of these in such a way that we are able to explain to our students the content in multiple ways for them to then be able to UNDERSTAND the content we are teaching!!! #EDU310

@allisonndow Love this idea!! It allows students to see how they can improve their writing prior to the teacher correcting so they know the writing style for that class since it can be different in others!!
