Today, Aug. 23rd, marks the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade & its Abolition. At least 4500 African people were enslaved in Canada for over 200yrs, appx 500 in colonial Ontario. Sharing my project that seeks to honour them & to uncover more about....

This Pride month our team @JudithNymanSS has curated & written an amazing list of lessons, leader/activists highlights, and community speakers. Today I heard my Ss reflect to unlearn homophobic ideas & take steps to repair those they've hurt. This is what teaching is 🙌.
