Classroom update: I have no idea where time has gone, but we hit 100 days of school this week. I’m slowly figuring out what works and doesn’t work in this classroom 🤪
One quarter down! Forty two days of school means 42 picture books read and new words learned. Today also means it is the first book raffle of the school year! #ProudArrows
Number talks are the BEST way to kick off our math workshops daily! Students solve daily problems mentally and all I do is annotate on the board. #ProudArrows
Shout out to all the substitute teachers out there! Also to all the secretaries and office staff who have worked so hard to coordinate classes getting covered in this crazy semester.
Forever missing gathering around the carpet to enjoy these favorites, but despite Covid Picture Book a Day is still going strong. Today we read our 53rd book!
I had my appendix removed on the 21st. Yesterday I skeptically returned the the classroom, nervous right for how it would go. I was greeted with this and SO many happy kids, we may have snuck a few hugs in 💕
Our classroom has started to feel like our home as we fill the walls with artwork and anchor charts 💕 so thankful to be spending my days back in school 📚 #proudarrows
