Y’all have already started lying.

Let’s establish some facts. Angel wasn’t the only player who left the Maryland WBB program n 2022. FIVE players, including Angel, entered the transfer portal within the same 30 hr period. Tht included Maryland’s two leading scorers, Angel Reese and Ashley Owusu, along with Mimi Collins, Taisiya Kozlova, and Channise Lewis.

And mind you, Maryland had just reached the Sweet 16, where Angel put up 25 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks, and an assist against Stanford.

She then transferred to an LSU program that had NEVER won a national championship. Kim Mulkey was only entering her second season, nine players from the previous roster were gone, and Alexis Morris was the ONLY returning starter.

Chasing a ring would’ve been goin to an established championship powerhouse like UConn or South Carolina, two successful, well-coached programs with championship pedigrees, who both recruited her out of HS. Instead, she chose LSU and helped lead a largely rebuilt roster to the first national championship n school history.

And the Dream hadn’t won a playoff series since 2016 or reached the semifinals since 2018. They were absolutely a great team before Angel arrived, and nobody is takin anything away from tht. But as her teammates Naz, Lish, Howard, and Bria have openly expressed, Angel brought something they needed to help get them over the hump.

They swept Washington, won their first playoff series in a decade, and advanced to the semifinals for the first time in eight yrs, while AR5 became the first Defensive Player of the Year in franchise history.

On Saturday, September 19th, Jackson lost his life after courageously saving his sister from her kayak after it flipped over on Lake Norman in North Carolina.

Jackson was a 21 year old, third generation senior at North Carolina A&T State University where he was heavily involved in several organizations including being a Chatham-White Scholar, the North Carolina A&T Student Government Association’s Executive Treasurer for the 2025-26 school year, and a member of the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Jackson was also the eldest brother to 7 of his siblings, whom his family said he loved deeply.

Pulse family, please take a moment to send your condolences to a student leader who is gone too soon 🕊️💙

Men are the real gold diggers. they expect you to give them your body, play maid, cook their meals, raise their kids, clean their mess, pamper their fragile egos, and take the brunt of emotional labor, all while holding down a job and splitting the bills

Black people didn’t ask any questions. We just woke up this morning, saw the timeline & was like “we ride at dawn!” I love us, man.

Forever riding for Barack & Michelle Obama 🖤

[Barack Obama @BarackObama]

It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.

[Michelle Obama @MichelleObama]

Barack and I were so honored to have @AkunyiliCrosby create our portrait for the Obama Presidential Center. Her artistic brilliance shines through — and the way she infused such life and joy into the piece is truly extraordinary. We love it, and we think everyone who visits the Center will too!

Charlamagne tha God: “All you do when you bring the Obamas up is remind people what is currently missing from the White House. The Obamas set a standard for decency and class and poise and intelligence. That no longer exists now. Now that bar is in hell. Satan and his demons use that bar to limbo”
