Last week we read “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” and we compared and contrasted the pigs’ and wolf’s point of views! This week we used different materials to build a house for a pig that would survive the big bad wolf (Mrs. Undercuffler’s hair dryer.) 🐷🐺#STREAM

In library, we’re getting ready for #HispanicHeritageMonth! We’re learning all about Luis Soriano and his traveling donkey library- the Biblioburro! 🫏📚
Our first trip to the new @davinciscience was a success!! After getting up close with some life-sized dinos, we did some research on our favorite type of dinosaur! Then wrote a fictional narrative about them! We even used AI to help us illustrate our stories! #STREAM 🦖🦕
With the help from @BigWoodys, the students from room 210 & @206_central quickly learned that bigger the denominator… doesn’t mean bigger the slice! 🍕
Look out @dominos!! We have some future pizza chefs on our hands! Each 3rd grader came up with a yummy custom pizza recipe using fractions. Beware, these pictures might make you hungry! 🍕😍

For this month’s Fun Friday, we read Balloons Over Broadway and watched a video showing how the real balloons are created for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Then we had a blast making our own balloon creations!! 🎈
Counting all of our trick-or-treat candy is going to be a breeze- since we learned how to use equal groups to solve multiplication problems!! Day 1 of multiplication was pretty sweet! 🍫🍬
