This is where selective, revisionist history eventually leads. If you only learned about White People Doing Things in history, art, science, music, and literature classes at school (I did), that was a strategy to root white supremacy in our minds. It worked. It's destroying us. https://t.co/kvE2jqbGCm

@witteboss@absurdistwords Ouch. This class was a large lecture, but with a dedicated TA and weekly study section for every 20-30 students (been a bit, so remembering exact numbers is fuzzy). Pretty sure that's the only way they could make that level of engagement happen.
I remember the first biology class I took where the professor took time to engage all different learning styles in delivering the course material. As a student, it was a game changer. https://t.co/5YgeMhRovY
First rule of teaching/coaching/mentoring:
Everyone is motivated by different things and have different styles of learning.
Failure to thrive under a single-approach instructional or motivational style is not evidence of an uncoachable student, but an inflexible coach. https://t.co/wxXsQEON5o
