Two of our student leadership groups were able to attend the 11 Principles Training as part of Hope Leadership Academy and network with leaders from schools in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. Thank you to Dr. Amy Johnston and Tamra Nast for serving as trainers at the event.

Instead of asking #students questions after they read a text, start by presenting a debatable or controversial statement. As students #read, challenge them to engage w/text finding evidence for & against the statement!
