When media is ideologically captured by one party and academia is producing propagandized graduates instead of critical thinkers, the First Amendment stops being a formality and starts being a lifeline. Because when big business is intimidated into pushing Pride Month at Major League Baseball out of fear of backlash but a player putting John 10:10 on his hat becomes a controversy, you are watching ideological capture in real time.

And underneath all of it is a contempt the elites have for ordinary people. The assumption that the farmer and the laborer are not sophisticated enough to understand complex issues so someone wiser needs to decide for them.
