We often ask staff to remember the challenges many students face outside of school.
But we should also remember that our colleagues are often facing serious obstacles and hardships too.
School needs to be a supportive and understanding environment for all.
Snowballs in April?! Why yes! 100% student engagement, creativity ignited, collaborative writing. Loved hearing "this was so much fun today". @AlainaRainey@CMMSCougars#TeamKidsFirst
I've always believed this matters more than anything else in what we do every day. When students know we care, everything else falls into place. Relationships matter.
Please remember that all those interactions you have with your students outside of the lesson really matter. The smiles... the eye contact... the jokes... the fist bumps... the silliness...they’re all important. They remind kids that they matter. Those moments can mean the world.
Review of Midsummer Night's Dream. Ss summarized different scene choices through acting. 4Cs in action. Visible learning. And FUN while learning! @AlainaRainey#WeAreCarroll#teamkidsfirst
