@CounselorBDavis @DrRDMayes Also having done “DIS counseling” through clinics and school districts. It is my opinion that the most effective way of providing “DIS counseling” is if a counselor who is full time on site is providing the services. And it should not be the only SC on site.

@CounselorBDavis @DrRDMayes Our Charter hires “gen Ed counselors” and “sped counselors”. The “sped counselors are the ones providing counseling that is written into IEPs. Being one of them, I can attest that it’s A LOT of work and it should be a job in itself.

@ZoeRoseBryant In America, they had affordable Barbie options. My mom and I would always buy a Barbie for my cousins in Mexico as a Christmas gift because they were much more affordable here than they were in Mexico. It more about the currency translation.
