May God give you an idea, show you strategies and grant you ability and the necessary resources to execute and implement that which He has graciously given for the benefit of humanity and for His glory ! In Jesus’ name.
To say we need a system with no theory and only practice is to repeat what wazungu said, that we Africans are too stupid to think and we should only learn to take instructions . That's the philosophy of CBC.
I don't get why Kenyans can't understand this. What's the problem?
In addition to returning to a system which we can run better than CBC, we need to IMPROVE THE ECONOMY. The point isn't whether your bougie kids can fry eggs thanks to CBC. It's if they graduate to work in a functional economy where other Kenyan kids had a decent chance as well.
This idea of the best school system to get your kid a job in Paris, London or New York is part of our problem. And this need for a "superior" system is a classist/elitist demand. What we need is a system to get people the basics to function in Kenya. There's no "superior" system.
Now that Gen Z's have proved that the political economy is the problem, let's drop this fantasy that the schooling system is everything. That myth belongs to the Someni vijana era. Let it go. We need an economy that works, then people won't be so scared about their exam results.
@Osama_otero Kenyans Going to work abroad is nothing to brag About Mr President!!!
We want to stay close to our aging parents!!!!
We want jobs HERE!!!!!!
My laptop just fell of my desk.
I heard that sound and knew it was over.
First thing I did was dish myself small rice, because the last time I cried on an empty stomach, I nearly died.
Sigh.
