We are absolutely LOVING the book Enemy Pie and talk about it often in class. However my class has a question for @enemypieguy — we want to know why the main character doesn’t have a name…it’s driving us crazy! 🤪
Writing had a whole new spin on it today! They were competing against each other as well as working on their opinion writing! Thanks @wewillwrite_com for this engaging platform!
@AlanKatzBooks Our class just finished reading this book and wanted to know if there was a sequel about Grandpa’s ear? We thought it was hilarious! What inspired you to write this book? What was the first book you wrote? #classroombookaday
@nicolakillen we just read The Little Kitten and we absolutely loved your choice of color in the illustrations as well as the way you placed the text! We made an inference that the kitten belonged to the witch…is that true?! #classroombookaday
I’m so excited that I was able to co-lead a professional development session about Adapting oratory across grade levels with the National Oratory Fellows at Ford’s Theatre today! Thank you @FordsEdu for this opportunity! #FordsOratory
I am so incredibly grateful to be a @FordsEdu National Oratory Fellow. The opportunities my students got this past weekend were one in a million and one they will never forget. Giving my students this opportunity is my why!
It feels soooo good to be back for the Annual Ford’s Oratory celebration. I cannot wait to see my students perform on this historic stage. @FordsEdu#FordsOratory
Day 2 of the Ford’s Oratory Retreat: Jordyn, Grey, Keira, and Lorelei got to practice their historical speeches on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial where Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his I Have A Dream Speech. They ended the day by going to see a show at Ford’s Theatre.
