Our class earned the most trophies at lunch for the month of April for the most positive behavior! We celebrated with Disney Day! We had Disney English Language Arts activities, Disney math activities, a virtual Disney escape room, roller coaster rides, and some ice cream! 🥳

It was such an honor yesterday to receive the 2022 Outstanding Teacher Education Senior Award! It was such a nice ceremony to be recognized for all of my hard work. I am thrilled to soon have my own classroom! 💓

Each student in my guided reading group read a different book from Little Critters. They had to retell their story by identifying the characters, setting and events. Then we discussed similarities and differences between the books! 🙂

We had a concert today with Jack Hartman! He joined on zoom with us and students had a blast dancing and singing along. It was quite the experience!

@FernHillES @MrsGalajda @WestChesterASD I am a student teacher at Glen Acres, I was at the SPCA this morning to walk dogs and saw the treats on each dogs kennel! Such a lovely and sweet thing they did! ❤️ The dogs will be very happy to enjoy them!

I presented my first lesson today!! It was an interactive read aloud about finding the best spot to read! we completed a T-chart using @Seesaw together! Lastly, the students individually wrote in their journals about their favorite comfortable spot to read at home & a drawing!😊

First day of 1st grade complete!! I am beyond excited to get to know these 1st graders all year! 💜 This is such a wonderful student teaching opportunity!!! Love my kiddos already🥰 Very happy to be in the West Chester Area School District! #studentteaching

I substituted in a 1st grade classroom, we were doing spelling words using white boards, & a few students wrote “i love you!❤️❤️” on their boards to me & it was the sweetest thing! Best rewards of being a teacher💙
