Heard this encouraging quote (that couldnโt be any more true) during a conference session here in Italy. Had to write it down nice and big as a constant reminder to take risks while teaching!
@msewarner@CliffValley YAYAYAYAYYY!!! Go Miss.Warner!! They are beyond lucky to have such a passionate, driven, and caring teacher. Wish you were staying in Indiana although those kiddos are immensely lucky to have you!!
Interviewing might be a long, exhausting process however I will never get tired of talking about all of the amazing kiddos who have impacted my life ๐คโค๏ธ #ButlerCOEimpact @ButlerCOE
Today, a student thought that our classroom fish looked a little lonely... so she gave him a friend to talk to! Kids are so just darn thoughtful and sweet, my goodness ๐
If we expect students to learn and grow throughout the year, we should hold ourselves accountable to the same thing! As educators, each year we need to keep striving to learn and grow!
On this sunshine filled day, we discovered some creepy crawlers while exploring outside! It looks like an insect study might need to be in the near future for us now. I might have a fear of bugs... but Iโll face my fear for these curious learners!
Sand on a tray might sound simple BUT itโs great for practicing our letters and numbers! The students also love the sensory aspect of their fingers in the sand. ๐โ๐ผ
Weโve been learning all about the Earth and how we can take care of it! Something we focused on was recycling. These artists got creative and made masterpieces out of recyclable material. #ReduceReuseRecycle
Had SO much fun today working on our letter blends! Students got to dance around the circle until the music stopped. Once it stopped, they had to come up with a word that had the blend in front of them in it. It was a great activity for both movement and learning!
I believe that children are brave and adventurous while being thoughtful and caring. They are unapologetically themselves in the best and most honest form. Children's compassion and fearlessness should be an inspiration to all. Children are world changers! @ButlerCOE
I am beyond grateful for these kiddos and @NoraElem. I learned so much during my student teaching experience there and leaving was one of the hardest things Iโve done! Lots of tears were shed but I will be back to see all of the amazing things these brilliant kids are up to!
Finding Waldo in morning meeting is one of the kiddos favorite things to do! Itโs one of my favorites too. They always work as a team and the excitement when they find him is the best!!!๐ต๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
I have been so lucky to get to travel to Reggio Emilia Italy, the place where my educational philosophy originated from. After studying the Reggio approach for the past three years, itโs amazing to get to see and learn even more alongside of teachers from around the world!
