Grade 2's exploration of Colour Theory has led us to Kandinsky and his use of tertiary colours. Our students created these magnificent compositions inspired by Kandinsky's Circles In a Circle. They certainly add a splash of colour to the 4th floor! #stamfordhk #cognitaway

Hanukkah Shalom! Last week in G1, we prepared for the festivities by learning all about Hanukkah & singing traditional songs in English and Hebrew. As Hanukkah often referred to as the festival of lights, it seemed fitting to create these translucent Stars of David. #cognitaway

In Visual Arts, Grade 2 students have been appreciating abstract art by exploring the works of Kandinsky and his use of shape and color. Students reimagined his painting, Circles in a Circle, 1923 and created stained glass style artworks.
