LOL dying bc true. Comic sans is a good font choice for elementary students! It’s a good font for dyslexic students but also lower elementary students benefit and it has the correct a instead of this fancy a. Format and modelling are important with kids 💜

Many teachers, including myself, have not explicitly taught printing. It would be busy work Ss tracing. When I did my OG training I realized how important handwriting needs to be explicitly taught. I am using this template with my Ss thank you @MmeLockhartLDSB we use it often!
