Can you articulate the Moral Imperative, Mission and Values of your School - is it entrenched in the DNA of your role as an educator and is it LIVED - is it lifegiving for you?
Too often, we label individuals as "lazy" or "unmotivated" because of their disloyalty to their job. Instead, we need to be looking toward their leadership. Without supportive leadership, we cannot expect employees to be dedicated to furthering the cause of their work.
Ensure in our teaching and learning we leave space for student wonderings, utterances and questions. But it is not just about collecting them it is also ensuring learning is organised around them.
'One way we can foster more creativity in our teams is to seek feedback early when our work is painfully incomplete'. It's wincingly difficult but always rewarding when someone else builds on and betters your wobbly idea.
