Tbh I have felt burnt out for a while now. I am trying a new educational space this year in the hope that my spirit can be renewed. Its week 2 & I already feel like I need to come to terms with the fact that I need to leave education.

@edutopia Not open book since we don’t have aligned textbooks, but I allow students to use their study guide on the original test. If they used their retest opportunity, they did that without their study guide.

insane how the only notable change since Sandy Hook is that kids are now formally trained to hide, barricade doors, fight, or run for their lives. that was the solution. to literally put the responsibility on them to figure it out and wish them luck.
