@MissTouby18@janelance2nd I think that clustering students would be helpful in CPS schools because students needs are always changing from day to day. When you group kids in a flexible manner and don't just address one student group, kids get the opportunity to have their needs met in a 1 on 1 manner.
@KaylaStine2@janelance2nd I think a good way to ensure that you are addressing the whole student is to make sure that you are giving your students time and space to be themselves in the classroom. This means giving them time to express themselves, and feel like they can interact with one another.
@janelance2nd#EDP495eS19 To help students understand their role, modeling and conversation has to occur on the teacher's behalf. The teacher must both show+discuss with students, appropriate instances in which the strategy can apply, and when it can't be applied so students can make decisions
@janelance2nd Q2:We have to create a sense of community among the class. Teachers have to figure out what the students enjoy outside of school and bring those elements into the classroom. When students can see aspects of their life in the class, they'll know that their teacher cares#EDP495eS19
@janelance2nd A1: As an educator I think this means that differentiation allows teachers to adapt instruction for all the different learners in their classrooms, creating an opportunity for all students to experience some sort of success #EDP495eS19
