My 7th graders managed to carry an evidence-based, close reading discussion on the symbolism presented in 2 short songs for the entire period today. I was so proud of how engaged they were, and blown away by some of the connections they made. #proudteacher
“#LouisSachar, the book Holes is a interesting, and it keeps me at the edge of my seat. The characters Stanley and Zero are so heroic.” - Taquan S. (Parker 7th grader)
