@teachermike72 I think you’re looking for full length suggestions, but @listenwiselearn is an alternative option because the clips are very short (at times, too short). But, the selections serve as a nice supplemental, pre-teaching, or activator that builds listening skills.

I say: Sometimes you need to recognize (mid-meeting) when it’s okay to let those time limits go and allow the conversation to organically flow. #EDLR5402

No more hw, cw, etc. Everything is tied to a skill: e.g. selection/use of evidence, analysis, etc. If something doesn’t connect with a skill, it doesn’t get a grade...makes you think about what you assign for a grade vs. assign for practice.

@FarmerSherry "A Repair Kit for Grading" by @kenoc7 completely changed the way our SS department grades. His book is easy to follow and provides real solutions to many of the grading debates that otherwise seem impossible to resolve. #EDLR5402
