Okay, I now have an entire week to come up with a great lesson on asking questions. How do you teach your students to ask questions that move their thinking forward, instead of leading them to a dead end?
I introduced @plickers to my class yesterday. The kids loved it! In seconds I could tell who was already an expert on a topic and who still needed some help. I can't wait to use this in our upcoming Civil War unit.
I plan on doing a tableau and a jigsaw activity with my fourth graders this week. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this go as smoothly as possible?!
