“Architects of Tomorrow: A Vision Beyond Trumps Darkness”
In the land where shadows grow long, and the air thickens with the whispers of discontent, there arose a man who spoke of greatness while draping us in darkness. His vision of America was one of walls and cages, fear and division, a place where the sun set on the hopes of the many, casting us into the twilight of despair. Yet, amid this manufactured night, we are the bringers of light.

I look around and see faces that refuse to be bowed by the weight of his rhetoric. We, the children of resistance, blessed by the struggle and the triumphs of those who came before us, carry within us the embers of a brighter tomorrow. We have seen the nightfall, felt its cold embrace, but we have also seen the dawn and know its warmth.

Trump’s America was never ours. His was a vision stitched from the fabric of exclusion, hemmed by the threads of hate. But we, with our myriad voices and endless shades, are the weavers of a new tapestry. Each day, we add to it our stories, our dreams, our undying hope. Trump’s Immunity Throne: The Supreme Court and the Demagogue"

I am the scream in the courthouse,
a gospel denied and silenced,
a whisper wrapped in legalese
that smothers justice in its cradle.

Rogue court in black robes,
with gavel strokes like whip cracks,
handing immunity to the corrupt,
crown and scepter to a demagogue,
this is your renegade judiciary,
making sin sanctified, law perverted.

In the chambers where liberty
should have its seat, there now rests
a ghost, a specter of what was promised,
a Constitution twisted into chains.

The rogue president, a puppeteer
of power, dangles freedom on strings,
his crimes a shadow over our tomorrows,
a dirge for the democracy we once sang.

They say no crime is too grievous,
no deed too dark for pardon,
as if the ink of our laws
was but a veil, a deceit,
a fragile facade for the privileged.

We watch, we wait, we witness
the unraveling of the fabric
woven by hands that bled for liberty,
by minds that dreamt of justice.

What now of the republic,
when the court is a renegade,
and the presidency a stage
for tyranny's play?

We the people, reduced to murmurs,
to footnotes in the annals of their power,
our voices drowned in the roar of corruption,
our will subverted, our hope diminished.

I cry out in the silence,
a raw and ragged plea:
justice, where have you fled?
Truth, when will you return?

In the stillness of the night,
I hear the echo of our lost ideals,

For there can be no peace,

to dance for scraps in a land that robs our tongues.

we learned to vote with our feet,
marching across bridges, our bodies a ballot box,
our voices, ancestral, ringing through billy clubs.

you, rogue president, an echo of old ghosts,
your tweets are cross-burnings in digital disguise,
your policies, chains draped in red, white, and lies.

we’ve met your kind before,
in the cotton fields, in the courthouse,
in the schoolyards where our children
learn to dodge bullets and distrust smiles.

we are the echoes of slaves who learned to read,
the whispers of ancestors who spoke freedom
into the wind, their breath a weapon

our job is to vote, not because you said so,

There’s no such thing as "Black Jobs," just jobs,
things you’ve never made, just stolen dreams,
jobs are hope, dignity, and bread,
not your low-wage schemes,
designed to leave us hanging by threads.

You’ve blocked black wealth, shattered enterprise,
our businesses suffocated under your lies,
you never built, only destroyed,
our potential crushed, our voices denied.

"Black Jobs," you say, but we see the ruse,
a cheap trick, a ploy to misuse,
our intelligence, our pride, our fight,
you try to pit us against our brown kin,
who toil in fields under the same dim light.

You want to take us back, to the days of dusk,
where we were cogs in your machine of rust,
menial work, dangerous tasks,
our worth measured in sweat and musk.

But we rise, we rise, like the phoenix from ash,
our resilience a beacon, our unity a clash,
against your attempts to divide, to control,
we stand together, unbroken, whole.

You’ve never given us "jobs," just chains,
keeping us in poverty, our efforts in vain,
we’ve built this country with our blood and sweat,
our contributions vast, but you forget.

Immigrants are not the enemy, they are kin,
brothers and sisters who also strive to win,
a living wage, respect, a place in the sun,
you use fear to manipulate, but we see through the con.

We are not pawns in your political game,
we are builders of futures, not pawns of shame,
our labor, our love, our dreams unbowed,
no rhetoric can silence this crowd.

You speak of "Black Jobs," but we know the truth,
jobs are not black or white, but a proof,
of our resilience, our strength, our collective might,
we are the past, the present, the future bright.

So keep your lies, your divisive speech,

I breathe in a world that chokes me,
heat clings to my skin like regret,
climate a fist around my throat.
They call me Mary, though my name
gets lost in the sway of bus tires,
my belly round with more than dreams.

I cradle life within me, a promise
swelling under ribs that ache,
lungs gasping through poisoned air.
Can't afford the hum of relief,
that cold salvation behind glass,
the window unit’s silent mockery.

Asthma and heat, a dance of death,
yet I move, I move, I move,
to the factory’s beat, a rhythm
etched in sweat and sacrifice.
Five blocks of sun’s disdain,
eight hours on feet that know no rest,
a journey of survival, a daily war.

They don’t see me, those with cool
breezes on demand, those who sip
lemonade under shaded ease,
ignoring the world that burns around me. Privilege is a blinder, a shelter,
a shield against the rawness of my life.

But I see them, I see it all,
the power in my hands,
a vote, a voice, a ripple in the storm.
I carry more than the weight of heat,
I carry hope, the antidote,
the promise of change with each step.

They will hear me, they will feel
