I was able to go to Ms. Ruggiero’s class and work on some phonics with the students.

Together, we tapped out words to find out what letter we change to create new words.

Today @Ms_Ruggiero1 and I paired our classes up for some Kindergarten Buddy time! First buddies 🤝designed a gingerbread house other - then the fourth graders read 📖 to their buddies! We had a BLAST with our buddies and can’t wait to do it again!

We had a great lesson today with @MrsCurranCCPS about personal space. We learned why it’s important to keep our hands to ourselves, why we should have personal space and ways that show us how we can and can’t give someone personal space! Thank you Mrs. Curran❤️ @PoincianaCCPS

Today, we played “Boom, Clap, Snatch” while practicing learning our new letters this week p & j. There were lots of giggles and it helped us practice finding and identifying our new letters quickly. We had so much fun!! 🤍 @collierschools @PoincianaCCPS @AJMicieli

Students read over 40,000 minutes during our Pre-Historic Read-A-Thon.

Students met their goals and Ms. Elgin & Mr. Micieli had to help with the celebrations.

Ms. Ruggiero uses physical movement to help students practice their vowels and vowel sounds.

Incorporating movement into lessons helps reinforce concepts through physical experiences that students can recall later.
