I was trying to figure out something cool and different for the b-sides of singles. I thought maybe a spoken word interpretation with musical accompaniment would be interesting, so I called up some of my creative partners from Brighten and I Want Blood and they delivered in fine style.
I was only going to do a couple, but they turned out so well that Joe Barresi suggested doing one for each song, and we put them all on Side D of the album vinyl.
