St Kitts and Nevis become first Caribbean nation to recognise Rastafari faith in law
The Prime Minister further highlighted the importance of respecting Rastafari not only as a religion, but as a way of life that is deeply rooted in the identity of many citizens.
“It is written in our Constitution, Madam Speaker, but we took a step to recognize Rastafarianism as a religion in Saint Kitts and Nevis as a faith practice, or what the members who practice it prefer to call it a way of life, a faith based way of life,” he added.

These awards are based on contributions/impact not colour. His award was agreed at the same time as Black Sabbath we agreed freedom of the City
